SUMMARY: Enrique Bordetas Mayor, born in Estada (Somontano of Barbastro), was as a priest and worked in various parishes in the diocese of Huesca. He was also a writer and published articles in Aragonese in magazines and newspapers during the first third of the 20th century. Some of them have not been republished since. This article presents a sketch of his life, disclosing new biographical data and offering an approach to his work, from which it recovers some newspaper articles such as his «Crónicas montañesas» (1912) and the unpublished poem «Cuatre lletras» (1933).
